Our chemistry specializes in the conversion of a select, limited group of natural alpha Amino Acids, into their natural active amines, as their hydrochloride salts, through the Chemical Synthesis Process of Canadian Patent CA 3,132,224, owned by Smith Enniskillen.

The chemical synthesis process involves a series of one-pot reactions, consisting of: (1) thermal, catalyzed decarboxylation, followed by: (2) hydrolysis of any intermediates as required, followed by: (3) conversion to the amine hydrochloride salt, as the final product.

Examples of such conversions are provided below.
